Brooklyn Creamery, a brand I discovered nearly seven months ago here in Kolkata, offered me a memorable experience with their vegan ice cream. The flavor that stood out combined chocolate and coconut ( chocolate and coconut vegan ice cream ), creating an exceptional and unforgettable blend of tastes. This marked my first encounter with vegan ice cream in India which was shared in my instagram, and for those unfamiliar with it, Brooklyn Creamery already offers a range of vegan flavors in the country.
But, have you explored the behind-the-scenes of dairy farms and how milk has achieved remarkable commercial success?
You might feel uneasy to learn that these successes in the dairy industry have come at the expense of the well-being of female cows, who often undergo multiple rounds of forced impregnation. In response to these ethical concerns, an increasing number of individuals are opting to exclude dairy products from their diets and are transitioning to dairy alternatives readily available in the market or that can be prepared easily at home using nut milk makers.
The rising consumer demand for these vegan alternatives has driven the growth of the non-dairy product market. Acknowledging this shift in consumer preferences, numerous major ice cream companies, such as Brooklyn Creamery, have expanded their product offerings to include dairy-free ice cream ( vegan ice cream ).
In a move to enrich its vegan menu, the company has recently unveiled a new vegan ice cream flavor : Banoffee Pie Vegan Ice Cream, within the last 15 days. This particular release stands on its own, offering a plant-based variation of the cherished classic English dessert, Banoffee Pie.
Brooklyn’s Vegan Banoffee Pie
The flavor of Banoffee Pie may be relatively new to Indian consumers, as it is a classic British dessert crafted from a delightful combination of ripe bananas and rich toffee, typically made from condensed milk. Indian consumers may not be very familiar with this unique and delicious dessert, but it offers a delightful taste experience worth trying.
New Vegan Banoffee Pie ice cream offers the perfect combination of flavors, blending the sweetness of banana, the rich essence of toffee, and the delightful crunch of brownie pieces into a delicious frozen treat. Created with rich and creamy coconut milk, so i can hope the same flavor of coconut that i got from chocolate and coconut vegan ice cream with banana. What’s even more delightful is that it’s a guilt-free treat, boasting just 79 calories per serving, and, to sweeten the deal, it contains no added sugar. So go ahead and relish every mouthful with no need for any hesitation.
We hope and wish them success with this flavor, as it reflects their vision for vegan ice cream. They are pushing the boundaries by introducing it to the Indian market ahead of its time, where it is still relatively unknown.
