2. Log Files & Server Metrics

Like most standard website operators, VeganGyan makes use of log files generated via our edge infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers). These log files record visitors when they access our pages. The information collected inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks.

This data is used exclusively to analyze trends, administer the platform, track user movement across the website, diagnose server anomalies, and gather demographic information. IP addresses and associated log entries are not linked to any personally identifiable information.

3. Cookies, Web Beacons & Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)

VeganGyan uses cookies to store information about visitors' preferences, to record user-specific information on which pages the user accesses or visits (such as client-side meal planning ingredients), and to customize web page content based on visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser.

Google AdSense & DoubleClick DART Cookies:

  • Google, as a third-party advertising vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on VeganGyan.
  • Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve personalized advertisements to our users based on their visit to VeganGyan and other sites across the internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising and the use of the DART cookie by visiting theGoogle Ad and Content Network Privacy Policyor via the Digital Advertising Alliance at aboutads.info.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology in their respective advertisements and links that appear on VeganGyan, which are sent directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. Other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) may also be used by third-party ad networks to measure the effectiveness of their campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see. VeganGyan has no access to or control over these cookies used by third-party advertisers.

6. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

Protecting the privacy of young children online is especially critical. VeganGyan does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13.
